Behind the Scenes With Steve Earle

You never know what to expect when you're talking to singer-songwriter Steve Earle. We've never known anyone who has had so many guitars - yes, despite a few divorce liquidations, he still have over 150 instruments of all stripes in his possession - and stories to share.

Earle came by our Seattle HQ to talk about mentor Guy Clark and perform a tune off his new Clark tribute record, Guy. Both will be showing up on fretboardjournal.com later this month. As happens far too often, just as we were about to shut the cameras off, we got a little tidbit we couldn't resist sharing.
