Win A Santa Cruz Guitar and Support Musicians in Need

Regular price

$5.00

2020 has proven to be a challenging year in so many ways. We were excited to announce our third Fretboard Summit this summer, which we sadly have to postpone.  As with years past, our friends at Santa Cruz were onboard and coming with an amazing gift - the opportunity to build a custom instrument with them. The second picture here features Larry, the SCGC winner from our first Summit.

Well, here's a small silver lining: Summit or no Summit, Santa Cruz still wants us to give a lucky reader a new custom OM model. Since SCGC is being so generous, we figured it would be a great opportunity for us to give back, too.

Deadline to enter is June 15th.

To enter and give back: After making your donation, follow the link below to Santa Cruz's custom order form and build your "dream OM." If your entry is chosen, this will be the guitar built for you by Santa Cruz!

Multiple entries are allowed (donations or postcards). You may also enter by sending a postcard to The Fretboard Journal at the address below and filling out the submission on SCGC's site - but remember, this if for a good cause.

We've partnered with the Santa Cruz Guitar Company to donate proceeds to three places: The first will be MusicCares, the largest and most diverse charitable organization supporting musicians. The second, in the spirit of "we're all in this together," will be a donation to The Bill Collings Memorial Fund which, in partnership with NAMM, helps support guitar education and enrichment across the country. The third will be the local music shop of the winner's choice (or a charity chosen by that store). We need to continue to support our small retailers during this tough time.

The fine print: SCGC will confirm specifications with the winner before building the guitar. Winner is responsible for any sales tax associated with shipping the guitar to their state of residence. International entries are eligible but subject to taxes and shipping.

No purchase/donation is necessary: You can enter simply by mailing us a postcard (please do it safely!) to our address below and/or by filling out the form on SCGC's site. On the postcard, please clearly include your contact information (name, address, email, phone number):

Postcards should be postmarked by June 15, 2020 to be enrolled.
